Almaty Building & Co works in two areas. It develops and builds compressed natural gas filling infrastructure and supplies natural gas and motor fuel; and it owns and manages industrial and warehouse property in Almaty.
Compressed natural gas infrastructure
The company develops, builds and commissions CNG filling stations, and is registered for the production of gaseous fuel, wholesale trade in natural gas and retail sale of motor fuel. Its first station, in Aktobe, launched in April 2026 and serves up to 300 vehicles a day.
Industrial and warehouse property
The company owns and manages industrial and warehouse premises in Almaty, leased to commercial tenants. This is a long-hold activity: it operates the property it owns rather than developing it for sale.

The two lines share the same constraints
Both activities are long-hold infrastructure in the same city, and both are registered activities of the same legal entity. The reason they sit together is not a portfolio theory; it is that they are constrained by the same three things.
Site. A CNG station needs a connection to the gas distribution network, road access that a heavy vehicle can use, and municipal approval. A warehouse needs power capacity, a yard a lorry can turn in, and the same approvals. In both cases the site work is slower than the construction, and it is where projects fail.
Specification. An asset held for twenty years is specified differently from one built to sell. Compression equipment, slab, power and roof are the things that are expensive to change later, so they are over-specified and the payback is accepted as slower.
Ownership. Both require a party willing to take construction risk and then live with the result. In a market where that combination is relatively rare, it is the constraint that matters most.

What Almaty Building does not do
- It is not a general construction contractor, despite the name, and does not tender for third-party building work.
- It does not operate outside Kazakhstan.
- It does not own or operate the gas transmission network; it connects to it.
- It does not supply gas to households.
- It does not act as a broker for third-party commodity trades.
