Due diligence and compliance enquiries
Counterparties, financial institutions and their advisers who need corporate documentation should say so in the subject line. The company provides its certificate of state registration, constitutive documents, VAT registration confirmation, confirmation of the director’s authority, and ownership and beneficial-ownership information — some items under a confidentiality agreement.

What to include in your enquiry
- Your organisation’s registered legal name and jurisdiction.
- Your role, and whether you are acting for a counterparty, a financial institution or an adviser.
- The specific question, or the specific document you need.
- Any deadline you are working to.
Enquiries that identify the requesting organisation and the document needed are answered faster, because they can be routed without a further exchange.
English and Russian
Enquiries are handled in English and Russian. Corporate documents issued by the Kazakhstan state register are in Kazakh and Russian; Almaty Building can supply English translations of the documents listed on the compliance page on request.
What happens after you write
General enquiries are answered directly. Due-diligence and document requests are routed to whoever holds the relevant records, which is why naming the specific document in the first message shortens the exchange. Where a confidentiality agreement is required before a document can be released, that is said at the outset rather than after a delay.
Some things cannot be confirmed by email: ownership details and constitutive documents are released to an identified organisation, not to an anonymous address, and Almaty Building will ask who is requesting them and in what capacity before responding. That is a normal control rather than an obstacle, and it is the same one a counterparty would expect to apply in the other direction.
